Here in this passage of the book of Revelation is a further descriptioin of the good figs, where we see that Yhwh very specifically has prepared them, and will sanctify (make them holy/kodesh) and seal them.
Revelation 7:
1 "And after these things I saw four malakim/angels standing on the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, nor on the sea, nor on any tree.
2 And I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living Elohim: and he cried with a loud voice to the four malakim/angels, to whom it was given to hurt the earth and the sea, 3 Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our Yhwh in their foreheads.
4 And I heard the number of them which were sealed: and there were sealed an hundred and forty and four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel. 5 Of the tribe of Juda were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Reuben were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Gad were sealed twelve thousand. 6 Of the tribe of Aser were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Nepthalim were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Manassah were sealed twelve thousand. 7 Of the tribe of Simeon were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Levi were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Issachar were sealed twelve thousand. 8 Of the tribe of Zabulon were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Joseph were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Benjamin were sealed twelve thousand."
When some people read or write “children of Israel” as pertains these scriptures, they often interpret literal descendants of Israel—the blood descendants of the patriarch Jacob, or "spiritual" descendants of Israel---point of which there are two views: the christian view backed by the roman church and her daughters, and a more moderate and less known view.
But when Yhwh says “children of Israel” in Scriptures, in many cases the descendants of the twelve tribes of Israel include the "israelised" Gentiles which have embraced the pacts. Even in the Tanak, foreigners residing among the israelites who were circumcised and embraced the pacts and laws were given israelite status.
In the days of the apostles, Yawhshua sent his followers to preach the gospel to "all nations" and to "the lost sheep of the House of Israel"---meaning the 10 so-called "lost" northern tribes, which were precisely scattered "among the nations."
The apostles obeyed and fulfilled this mission and went from places as close by as Syria and Alexandria (Egypt) to Asia Minor, Greece, Spain, other places in Europe and even the British Isles. This means they knew where their contemporaneous descendants of the 10 tribes were located in the first century, even though they had been removed from their own land and scattered for more than 750 years! Naturally, the Tribe of Yudah was still living in the land and was not dispersed until late in the second part of the First Century.
In the latter days in which we are living today, especially in the case of the 10 northern tribes who by now have been dispersed among the nations the longest--- for a total of about 2,730 years---the descendants of these tribes have in most cases intermixed with one another and in many cases also with the descendants of the heathen where they have been living, to the point that it is practically impossible that there remain 100% pure-bloodline israelites today.
Yet this is not a problem for our Abba Yhwh Elohim. He will nevertheless complete the number of the 12,000 of each tribe before Yahwshua Ha Mashiach returns choosing each not based on the purity of their bloodline but will elected each based on the kodesh state of the person who has embraced the Torah and accepted Mashiach as His savior and lived up to His expectations, which is akin to having become an israelite in Yhwh's own terms as stated in the Holy Scriptures. And whether these 12,000 from each tribe are 100% pure-blood israelites or 80% or 20% to Yhwh is irrelevant at the time of their sealing--- as long as they are truly converted via Yahwshua Ha Mashiach and entered the Kehilah as all converted humans automatically do upon their true conversion, they are candidates for being sealed and harvested in the first harvest.
We have to understand that the Kehilah or true ekklesia of Yhwh headed by Yahwshua Ha Mashiach is the "vehicle" by which all Israel has been undergoing restoration, and that it is composed of all the modern descendants of Israel's 12 tribes that converted by the circumcision of their hearts regardless of the percentage of pure israelite blood running through their veins, plus the converted heathen among them.
While Yhwh may opt not to choose any of these converted non-israelites (that is to say, descendants of the heathen nations that have circumcied their hearts) as part of the 144,000 to be rulers and teachers, and select only from those converted israelite ones that have actual blood of Juda, Reuben, Gad, Aser, Nepthalim, Manasses, Simeon, Levi, Issachar, Zabulon, Joseph, and Benjamin, is to be understood that it is Yhwh's prerrogative to crown as "israelite" any faithful person he chooses---as all the faithful in the ekklesia/kehilah are. He has done it before and can do it any time He wishes. Abraham was chaldean and nevertheless was selected for a position as high as that of a Patricarch! Youssef's two sons, Eprayim and Manasseh, are both 1/2 egyptian! Therefore all their descendants today, no matter how intermixed with other tribes or with the heathen, have likewise some israelite and egyptian blood in them in the same proportion!
Yaacob changed the order of Youssef’s two sons when he blessed them when he was dying
Why aren’t Dan and Ephraim included in the list of tribes in Revelation 7? They were cut off because of idolatry. Dan incited the northern tribes to sin, which I suggest might have some prophetic end-time or second fulfillment as Scriptures indicate that the Anti-Christ will be of Dan, and Ephraim sinned again later due to extreme materialism and exploitation of his neighboring nations. Below are some passages from Hosea. (For more information on Ephraim and Dan, their identity and sins, please refer to our separate messages that should be already posted)
Hos. 4:17 "Ephraim is joined to idols: let him alone." Hos. 9:11 "As for Ephraim, their glory shall fly away like a bird, from the birth, and from the womb, and from the conception." Hos. 9:16 "Ephraim is smitten, their root is dried up, they shall bear no fruit: yea, though they bring forth, yet will I slay even the beloved fruit of their womb."
The 144,00 and the "Great Multitude" are described as a separate group in Revelation chapters 7 & 14.
Revelation 7: 9 "After this I beheld, and lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands; 10 And cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our Elohim which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb".
So these 144,000 children of Israel are described as a separate group from all the rest of the saints in glory.
In Revelation 7 these 144,000 are seen in the earth. The same 144,000 are seen in heaven in Revelation 14, separate and distinct from the four beasts and the elders; and called the firstfruits unto Yhwh and to the Lamb.
Rev. 14:
1 "And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the mount Sion, and with him an hundred forty and four thousand, having his Father’s name written in their foreheads. 2 And I heard a voice from heaven, as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of a great thunder: and I heard the voice of harpers harping with their harps: 3 And they sung as it were a new song before the throne, and before the four beasts, and the elders: and no man could learn that song but the hundred and forty and four thousand, which were redeemed from the earth. 4 These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. These were redeemed from among men, being the firstfruits unto Yhwh and to the Lamb."
Over against the new order of things set up by the Antichrist, these sing ‘a new song,’ --– a victory and glory never shared by any but them. Those sealed ones were to be supernaturally protected and preserved amid the plagues that followed; and these appear as persons marvelously kept and sustained under the consummation of those plagues against the Antichrist nations.
The 144,000 on Mount Zion are the identical 144,000 sealed ones spoken of in Chapter 7, with only this difference, that there we see them in their earthly relations and peculiar consecration; and here we see them with their earthly career finished, and in the enjoyment of the heavenly reward for their faithfulness.
What are the chief marks or characteristics of these 144,000 besides being "israelite" in nature?
A true and conspicuous confession … unworldliness … pureness (not contaminated with false doctrines) … truthfulness (no lie was found in them).
